SUPPLY CHAIN COORDINATOR:
A company in the Alexandria, MN area is now hiring a Supply Chain Coordinator. Candidates will be responsible for the coordination of all purchases, sales, and shipping in a timely and cost-effective manner, while continually looking for market and efficiency opportunities. This position is Monday Friday. Salary depends on qualifications.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Source and purchase raw material based upon market conditions and needs.
-Facilitate and project customer orders and market demand.
-Facilitate, optimize and coordinate all freight.
-Use communication skills to negotiate with suppliers, vendors and customers.
-Highly organized and able to track trends, costs, market conditions and opportunities.
-Use problem solving skills to address any issues or complaints.
-Commitment to staying on budget, honoring accuracy, and making time-sensitive targets.
-Commitment to compliance with all DOT and FMCA laws, polices, and regulations at all times.
-Must consistently look to improve efficiency and work environment by being proactive or offering suggestions to coworkers, leads and managers.
-Communicate and establish healthy relationships with others in the workplace.
-Attend training to improve skills.
-Promote personal and company image throughout the community.
-Demonstrate flexibility when asked to perform various tasks.
-Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:
-Excellent interpersonal skills
-Ability to solve complex problems
-Ability to perform assigned duties under frequent time pressures in an interruptive environment.
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
-Continuous use of computer and telephone.
