Operations Manager:
A local company is now hiring an Operations Manager. This position is full-time, Monday Friday. Candidate s primary responsibilities include:
-Execute the manufacturing strategic plan, incorporating lean principles where applicable and align it with general company strategy.
- Foster a working environment of continuous improvement and consistent and clear communication of requirements and standards/procedures.
- Lead the production team to ensure the following activities are accomplished in a timely and efficient manner.
- Work to understand all aspects of company, including front office.

Other duties include:
-Plan, direct, schedule, and coordinate the production operations in compliance with company goals and objectives.
-Plan production meetings, production activities, and machine maintenance schedules.
-Investigate and analyze new production processes based on opportunities.
-Establish and control conditions of production in order to satisfy customer and quality specifications.
-Maintain cost effective, high-quality, and high-standard production with on-time delivery.
-Maximize the efficiency of production and ensure effective labor and equipment utilization.
-Chart and post critical measurements (including Yield, Efficiency, Utilization, Scrap, Cost, Delivery, Service), determine root cause and corrective action for out-of-control processes.
-Take corrective actions and process/quality improvements to resolve product/quality issues.
-Monitor company processes against company/industry standards and react to deviations in performance relative to procedures.
-Corrective and preventive actions are taken to resolve equipment/fixturing issues that cause deviations from customer requirements.
-Promote routinely-scheduled communication meetings with all departments.
-Meet with internal sales, customer service, and purchasing to ensure production schedules are in alignment with their expectations.
-Hold internal communication meetings with the production team to ensure smooth information flow and effective production scheduling.
-Work with front office and upper management to understand all aspects of the business and ensure the production operations are in line with company objectives.

Requirements:
-Bachelor s degree
-Management: 1 3 years
-Pay depends on qualifications; $30 - $40k/year.
